The role and activities of institutions and organizations in public governance is of great importance: extending from high to low politics, public governance has both short and long term effects in the political, security, economic, social and cultural spheres thus shaping the environment of our everyday lives. With a vibrant international environment re-emphasizing older issues while posing a new set of challenges at the public sphere, the examination of contemporary public governance proves to be highly significant.
