About the organisation:
Kaunas community center „Girsta“. Non-governmental organisation – association, established in 2004 and working within Gričiupis district in Kaunas. Aim of the NVO – organize and coordinate educational, cultural, social, environmental and sports activities within Gričiupis community, in order to develop civic, cultured and educated society which will actively participate in the country’s and Europe’s daily life.

Project idea:
Commemoration of WWII victims. War influence on participating parties. Duties of citizens to their country. Influence if international crisis for all European countries.
Purposive group – all age groups citizens, especially youths. Activities – conferences, commemorational events.

Project period and venue:
12 months

Partners searched:
Organisations, which are interested in project described above or already working on similar project. Towns municipalities are especially welcome.

Project expenses equally shared between project partners.
