Community Services and Volunteering



The aim of the annual project is to show how the community service is realized in the Hungarian high schools compared to foreign partner schools.
During the project the social sensitivity of students and mentoring teachers are going to develop and their communication skills will get stronger. They will become a more inclusive members of the society.
Our students will form smaller groups with their partners and going to map different service areas meanwhile they will know the local culture and will gain deeper insight into environmental protection, world of animal shelters and everyday problems of minorities and handicapped people.
The preparation classes will be followed by personal works (documenting all steps is necessary) and will be closed with a meeting where the groups have to share and express their gained experiences and impressions.
The closure of the whole project will be a conference wherein the participants have to compare the countries’ community service, looking for the positive ideas, thoughts that could be used in their own country.
