EU's challenges and future perspectives: isolation and challenges of emigration

About the organisation:
The goal of Vilnius City Hall is to represent the self-government of the capital of the Republic of Lithuania in the socio-cultural life, while developing cultural, artistic and educational activities. City Hall of Vilnius is implementing various national and international projects and from 2012 to 2017 we are implementing the EU funded project CreArt.
While implementing ‘Europe for Citizens’ project, we are planning to organize cultural and educational activities which through the different activities will promote solidarity, tolerance, citizenship and encourage project participants to analyze today's EU challenges and future perspectives.

About the project:
The project seeks to discuss the EU's challenges and future perspectives, to understand and address the issues of isolation and challenges of emigration.
Through educational, cultural, cognitive and artistic activities, participants in the project will be able to perceive the consequences of closure, xenophobia and will have a chance to get into fates of emigrants. We believe that the project will help to create an open, tolerant, thinking and developing personality.

Timetable of the project:
5-8th of June, 2018 (dates could be changed) The activities will take place at the Vilnius City Hall, the Incubator for Audiovisual Industries, Vilnius Old Town and the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Center LITEXPO.

Role of the partner organisation in the project:
We are searching for the open and communicative partner organizations working in the field of culture, development, education. We would love to participate with other City halls or NGO’s from partner cities in the EU: Salzburg (Austria), Brussels
(Belgium), Erfurt or Duisburg (Germany), Warsaw, Wroclaw, Gdansk, Krakow or Lodz (Poland), Olborg (Denmark), Joensuu (Finland), Tallinn (Estonia), Palermo or Pavia (Italy), Piraeus (Greece), Riga (Latvia), Stockholm (Sweden).
