Rural development, cultural exchange, environmental protection and protection of human rights

About the organisation:
Our association is working in the field of rural development, and environmental protection. Our aim is to enable economic and social growth of our municipality and region through sustainable use of resources, preservation of tradition and respecting the needs of local population. We are active from 2006.

We are working primarily in the areas of rural development and agriculture, promotion and support to sustainable economic growth, promotion of cultural and historical values and human rights, protection of environment, support to the local initiatives and inter-cultural cooperation among municipalities.

So far we have established cooperation with numerous organizations and government agencies: USAID, EU, UNDP, Karitas, Municipality of Leposavic, Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection...

About the project:
We would like to participate as partner organization in different projects related to main fields of our work – rural development, cultural exchange, environmental protection and protection of human rights. Primarily, we would like to participate in Town Twinning projects, but in other measures, as well.

Role of the partner organization in the project:
We would appreciate the opportunity to learn from more experienced colleagues across Europe, but also would like to offer our knowledge and experience.
