Labor options that the rural youth citizenship have in insolating and small towns of Europe
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Freila town is a small municipality located in the North of the Granada Province (south Spain). With 894 inhabitants its principal economic activity is the agriculture.
The high unemployment rates among the youth people are the most important challenger of the municipality.
For that this Town Twinning project will deal with the labor options that the rural youth citizenship have in insolating and small towns of Europe.
PROJECT ACTIVITY
Develop a twinning event in Freila addressed to mobilize citizens, in order to debate about the labor options that the youth people have in a small, rural and isolated towns. The final objective is to go in depth in the youth feelings and to define a roadmap of the labor opportunities of the young people in order to facilitate the establishment in their towns.
Indicators: 1 Event (Freila), 10 – 15 participants of the town partner, 5 -8 days.
PARTNER SEARCH
A town/municipality or its twinning committees or other non – profit organizations representing local authorities of EU Member States or other like Albania, Bosnia, Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia.
The town/municipality must have similar characteristics (small, rural, isolated) and share the Freila challenges.
DEADLINE
Depend on the time, we will try to submit in the first round (1st March). If not we will submit in the second round (1st September).
