About the organisation:
eCivis is a non-profit organization placed in Getxo (Basque Country, Spain), since 2012. We work for the citizenship empowerment through knowledge and information, boosting different proposals as well as projects aimed to stimulate debates and workshops about what Europe we want, and to promote citizenship participation.
About the project:
Exchange of experiences and creation of a network among civil organizations and training and educational centers that work in the construction of an active european citizenship, especially with young people from 13 to 16 years old, in orden toenable participants (young people but also citizens at a regional level), to deepen their knowledge of the EU institutions and policies, and better understand the EU's achievements and benefits, as well as to understand the cost of not being part of the European Union.
The goal is to contribute to raising awareness of European values and to enable citizens to reengage with the EU and develop a stronger sense of ownership of the European project.
Partners searched:
We are looking partners from Eurosceptic countries and from Pro-European Countries, so we can exchange experiences about how to involve and reengage with the European project as well as how to better understand the European project at the earliest stages of education.
