Central European Joint Infoday on Centralised Actions. Cooperation with Partner Countries in the Erasmus+ Programme - 15-16 November 2016, Budapest
The event is organised in the framework of the current Call for Proposals 2017 of the Erasmus+ programme and focuses on the international dimension of Erasmus+, i.e. actions supporting cooperation between Programme Countries and Partner Countries in the higher education sector. The main theme of the event is how the cooperation of European universities with partner universities all over the world is supported by actions managed centrally by the EACEA Executive Agency in Brussels.
The following actions will be presented: Capacity Building in Higher Education (the former Tempus programme), Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees and last but not least - Jean Monnet. In order to provide a compact overview of this type of actions, Knowledge Alliances will be also discussed.
The policy background of the international dimensions of Erasmus+ will be presented by a representative of the European Commission. The information on each action will first be introduced by a representative of the EACEA or a National Agency, whereby the practical part will be covered by a university from each country as a good practice example.
The conference participants will also have the chance to meet three National Erasmus+ Offices from the partner countries of Egypt, the Russian Federation and Uzbekistan, whose representatives will explain the priorities of their countries in future project proposals.
Through in-depth practical presentations and discussions as well as exchange of experience at so-called learning tables we expect to provide practical support to potential applicants under the Erasmus+ programme.
