The European Association for International Education (EAIE) was founded in 1989 and by now it has become one of the most significant European centres for expertise, networking, and resources in the internationalisation of higher education. As part of its activities, EAIE annually organises international higher education conferences and exhibitions in Europe, providing an important meeting point for international educators and professionals from all around the world. The Annual EAIE Conference and Exhibition is considered one of the most inspiring and outstanding international professional events of the year.

This year’s conference took place in the glamorous city of Barcelona and was themed 'The future in full colour', embracing the ever-expanding spectrum of tools for internationalisation. The theme explored how practitioners can draw on this diverse pallet to paint a vivid and inclusive picture of our shared future.

The largest European higher education conference of the year attracted more than 6300 visitors from over 90 countries worldwide. It provided an inspiring programme package with a wide range of sessions around the most crucial current topics of international higher education as well as 8 workshops, 16 networking events and various poster sessions.

Tempus Public Foundation has taken part in the EAIE conferences since 2013 with the aim to support Hungarian higher education institutions in boosting their international activities and partnerships. Study in Hungary, a brand managed by Tempus Public Foundation exhibited at the EAIE Conference and Exhibition for the seventh time. Apart from Tempus Public Foundation, this year's exhibition welcomed more than 200 exhibitors representing higher education institutions, government agencies, private sector service providers and more. The Study in Hungary stand was supported by the Stipendium Hungaricum Programme, a prestigious scholarship opportunity for inbound international students.

At the 32^nd Annual EAIE Conference and Exhibition, the representatives of 11 Hungarian higher education institutions joined Tempus Public Foundation at the Study in Hungary stand, including Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Eötvös Loránd University, Eszterházy Károly Catholic University, Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Óbuda University, University of Debrecen, University of Dunaújváros, University of Miskolc, University of Pannonia, University of Pécs and the University of Szeged.

Aside from the exhibition, there were also 7 conference sessions and 2 inspiring poster presentations with Hungarian speakers and contributors, who could share more details about their research findings, project works and own experience about international mobility and internationalisation at higher education.

The Study in Hungary stand was very successful and busy during all three days of the exhibition. We are delighted that we could meet, provide information, and exchange knowledge with so many partners and delegates from all covers of the world and assist the Hungarian higher education institution in their negotiations.
