Tempus Public Foundation and representatives of Hungarian higher education institutions participated in the 33rd EAIE Conference and Exhibition in Rotterdam.
Founded in 1989, the European Association for International Education (EAIE) is a recognised centre for the internationalisation of higher education. As part of its international activities, it organises Europe's largest annual conference and exhibition on higher education.
This year's EAIE Conference and Exhibition took place in Rotterdam and attracted more than 6.700 visitors from over 100 countries around the world. Participants were able to attend sessions on the most important current issues in international higher education, as well as several workshops, networking events and poster sessions.
The conference featured two poster presentations by Tempus Public Foundation (TPF) colleagues entitled "PROFFORMANCE: A toolkit to support educators in international cooperation" and "Connect language teaching methods, practices, and institutional currents to support integration of foreign students". Each of the poster presentations attracted a large audience, with approximately 30-40 participants per poster in face-to-face discussions. |
The Study in Hungary booth was visited by many visitors during the three days. Tempus Public Foundation represented Hungarian higher education at the event for the 8th time under the Study in Hungary brand. More than 200 exhibitors, including representatives of higher education institutions, governmental and private sector organisations participated in the higher education exhibition, which was organised in parallel with the conference. The event provided an excellent opportunity for us to hold discussions with professional partners.
At this year's EAIE Conference and Exhibition, 11 Hungarian higher education institutions joined the Study in Hungary stand, including the University of Debrecen, University of Dunaújváros, Eötvös Loránd University, Eszterházy Károly Catholic University, Hungarian University of Agricultural and Life Sciences, University of Miskolc, Óbuda University, University of Pannonia, Pázmány Péter Catholic University, University of Pécs, and University of Szeged.
