Target group: adults around and above 55 years and pensioners
Problem statement: In rural small communities the older generation possesses countless material and intangible virtues and values, which for them are common and may seem less valuable, but in reality it’s significant in its kind and in the community.
Our goal is to show and to highlight that:
- they possess knowledge that is of importance in regard of microhistory
- they have a rich world of heritage and tradition – to make people aware of local traditions and define them as value
- they were socialized in strong and durable human and family connections
- they have a generally fading knowledge, which can be useful even today for every member of their community
We want to make them more open and receptive for the things the younger generation value, for example modern technology or new and mainstream trends that seem strange for the elders.
With discovering their own values, traditions, culture and by exploring European cultural heritage we can help them realize a worthy and humane life, which can serve as an example for future generations.
