Students stand in a circle and the teacher says the infinitive of an irregular verb, throw the ball and the student who catches it has to say and demo the 3 forms of the verbs, eg: drive (hand on head), drove (hands on shoulder), driven (hands on hips). The 'catcher' then repeats the process and so on. Demo this to make surethe students have got the idea before launching into it, and monitor at first to make sure the 'thrower' is not just making eye contact with one student and throwing the ball to him/her, thus making it unnecessary for the others to prepare the answer in their heads.

A diákok egy körben állnak. A tanár mond egy igét és dobja a labdát. Aki elkapja, az elmutogatja az ige 3 alakját: pl.: drive (kéz a fejen), drove (kezek a vállakon), driven (kezek a csípőn). Az 'elkapó' aztán ismétli a folyamatot. A feladat demonsrálása nagyon fontos a kezdés előtt, és győzödjünk meg róla, hogy a ?dobó? nem tart fent szemkontaktus valamelyik másik diákkal, hogy neki dobja a labdát, ezzel feleslegessé téve, hogy a többieket gondolkodásra bírjuk.
