Online information session – Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship (application round for Academic Year 2025/26)

On the 10th December 2024, Tempus Public Foundation is going to hold an information day about the announcement of the current Call for Applications for the Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship, for studies starting in the academic year 2025/26. During the event, attendants are going to be informed about the application procedure and the online application system, followed by a Q&A session.

The Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship is for those who live in a Hungarian diaspora outside of the European Union and wish to study at a Hungarian higher education institution to develop their personal, professional, and cultural relations to Hungary. The programme aims to support the professional advancement of the scholarship holders with high-quality Hungarian higher education while improving their Hungarian language skills and strengthening their Hungarian identity.

The event is going to be held online, the participants will get the entry link after the approved registration. We would like to ask you to send your registration until the 10th of December 12:00 (CET).

We welcome all the potential students, their families and teachers who are interested in the programme.

The language of the event will be English.

NOTA BENE: The information event is about the Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship Programme, therefore please attend the event only if you (or the applicants represented by you) have a Hungarian heritage and live in a Hungarian diaspore outside of the European Union. Please note that we are not going to be able to answer questions about other scholarship programmes during the event. Thus, please consult the online surface of the particular programme’s website if you do not have Hungarian roots and you are interested in other scholarship opportunities (such as the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship).

By attending the events of the Tempus Public Foundation, Participants acknowledge and authorise any photos, video or voice recordings that may be taken of them during the events. The Tempus Public Foundation shall have full, unlimited and transferable copyright in using these images and recordings of the participants, unrestricted by territory, time or further application. The Tempus Public Foundation shall have the right to use, apply, duplicate, modify, publish, release or broadcast these images and recordings without any manner of compensation whatsoever due to the Participants. With respect to the images and recordings described above, Participants shall not have claims of any kind towards the Tempus Public Foundation or any photographers, videographers or publicity personnel operating under the express authorisation of the Tempus Public Foundation.
